Sustainability is easiest when it doesn’t need to be justified
Audits around sustainability themes are on the rise. Yet our client Logitri, a logistics supply chain provider, began their sustainability journey driven by their own values.
Logitri’s 32,000 m² property features its own solar power plant and an electric truck charging point powered by solar energy. The property also holds LEED Gold operational certification, and Logitri is targeting net-zero emissions by 2035.
The same environmentally conscious mindset guides Logian’s operations as well. The goal is to develop Finland’s most sustainable logistics and light industrial properties.
“It is a great advantage when a logistics property’s tenant and owner share the same objectives, so that energy-efficient solutions can be developed with a long-term perspective. Logistics is often perceived as a dirty and polluting part of the supply chain, so it is important to be able to demonstrate that environmental matters are at the forefront of our operations.”
