Logian develops logistics site in Pirkkala together with NCC

Logian is developing a logistics and warehousing center at Vaaksakuja in Pirkkala, combining business efficiency with sustainability. The approximately 20,000 square meter project will be implemented in partnership with construction company NCC.

The location of the Vaaksakuja offers excellent transport connections and growth potential for companies operating in the area. The detailed plan confirmed in summer 2025 enables versatile use from logistics to small-scale industrial production facilities.

“Our cooperation with Logian has started well, and we are confidently preparing for the construction phase of the project by clearing the site and implementing other preparatory work afterwards,” says regional unit manager Petri Moksén from NCC.

Special attention has been paid to environmental impacts and community well-being in the project planning. The property will be positioned on the site so that it acts as a noise barrier towards the nearby residential area, which was already taken into account during the zoning amendment phase.

“Developing the Vaaksakuja together with NCC is an excellent example of how the right partnership creates added value.
